Summary:

WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education received proposals on Friday, June 9, 2023 for Professional Financial Services. Request for proposals were issued to three (3) vendors with one (1) vendor responding; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education desires professional financial services for the 2025-2026 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education can award a term contract without public advertisement for professional services in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-5a (1); and
WHEREAS, the contract term is July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation for award of term contract was reviewed and approved by Valerie Wilson, School Business Administrator. |

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Newark Board of Education hereby accepts and approves the award of term contract for Professional Financial Services for a one (1) year period commencing July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 as follows:
SAZ Business Services, Union, NJ at a cost not to exceed $106,471.00
EXPLANATION: To provide professional financial services for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. |
