Summary:
|
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education advertised to receive bids on Friday, March 14, 2025 for Conference Venue. Request for bids were issued to three (3) vendors with one (1) vendor responding; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4, the District shall award only by resolution of The Board of Education to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder after public advertisement for bids; and
WHEREAS, the contract term is May 27, 2025 through May 28, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation for award of term contract was reviewed and approved by Amanda Grossi, Director of Mathematics. |

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education accepts and approves the award of term contract for Conference Venue from May 27, 2025 through May 28, 2025 as follows:
Robert Treat Hotel Inc., Newark, NJ at a cost not to exceed $19,013.70
EXPLANATION: To provide the District with a venue for the Mathematics Olympics Competition on May 28, 2025. |
