Summary:
|
Whereas the researcher would like to explore the lived experiences of school-based administrators who supervise and support special education teachers in implementing evidence-based practices (EBPs) for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in autism-specific classrooms within a high-need urban school district. The focus is on understanding the lived experiences of administrators in overcoming challenges and supporting teachers in maintaining high-quality, evidence-based instruction. Whereas the researcher would like to use purposive sampling to select 15 participants who are particularly knowledgeable in the area of interest. Participants must be school-based administrators such as principals, assistant principals, or other relevant leadership positions responsible for supervising or supporting special education teachers in autism classrooms. Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire and participate in a one-to-one interview. |
