Summary:
|
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education was selected by the NJDOE for a audit monitoring for the following grant programs: Title I, Part A (Title I); Title I SIA; Title II, Title III, Title III immigrant, Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), IDEA Basic and Preschool and the Perkins V grant; and
WHEREAS, the monitoring period covered the the period of July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2022 the Collaborative Monitoring report was sent to the district with a synopsis of the audit report and recommendations, which are available for public review; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education has developed the attached Corrective Action Plan to address and correct the deficiencies noted. |
