Summary:

|
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B) is a federally funded program designed to ensure that children with disabilities, including children aged three through five, have access to a free appropriate public education to meet each child’s unique needs and prepare each child for further education, employment, and independent living. The carryover funds will be used for after-school and summer programs, instructional and non-instructional supplies, professional services, Special Olympics, Preschool Disabled, proportionate share services to non-public schools, and Early Intervening Services to address the needs of students identified at risk. |
