Summary:

WHEREAS the Newark Board of Education is committed to the continuing improvement of the educational program of the District;
WHEREAS the curriculum shall be evaluated and modified in accordance with a five-year plan for curriculum; and
WHEREAS each curriculum will be evaluated, rewritten as needed, implemented, and then analyzed and adjusted as determined in order to ensure quality programs across a five-year period in order to ensure program excellence;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education approves and adopts the Five-Year Curriculum Evaluation Schedule that defines the curriculum development process.
