Whereas, Kool Kids Foundation is a nonprofit organization with a mission that believes music and the arts have magical values and provide remedies to the ongoing disparity in education; and Whereas, Kool Kids Foundation has awarded Newark Board of Education $14,000 for Malcolm X Shabazz High School Marching Band; and Whereas, the award letter is to be applied for Malcom X Shabazz High School Marching Band’s uniforms and equipment; and Whereas, the grant period of funding is for the SY 2023-2024.
