Summary:
|
Whereas, the Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Foundation founded in 1972, located in Princeton, New Jersey, is the nation’s largest philanthropic organization dedicated exclusively to improving health and healthcare in the United States; and
Whereas, Superintendent León participated on a panel during the RWJ visit to Newark as part of their 50th Anniversary commemoration and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has awarded the Newark Board of Education $25,000; and
Whereas, the Office of the Superintendent will determine how the funding will be used in alignment with district needs; and
Whereas, the grant funding is for the 2022-2023 school year.
