Summary:
|
Whereas, the Trust for Public Land has agreed to develop a teaching garden with the Newark Board of Education at Louise A. Spencer Elementary School.
Whereas, there will be a gardening education program developed and the school shall host participating school staff members and students to benefit from the program.
Whereas, if circumstances allow, certain members of the community may also participate in the program.
The project involves the design and implementation of the garden at the school.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memorandum of Understanding with the Trust for Public land and the Newark Board of Education that will allow the design a nde development of a learning garden and program at Louise A. Spencer Elementary School
