Summary:
|
Whereas, Beat the Streets has agreed to assist the Newark Board of Education in implementing up to three afterschool wrestling programs for children in grades 5-8; and
Whereas, Beat the Streets staff will participate in planning and implementation of the wrestling program and provide wrestling equipment, uniforms and coaches; and
Whereas, Beat the Streets will engage with coaches, provide access to competitions, clinics and camps in collaboration with the Office of Athletics.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memorandum of Understanding between Beat the Streets and the Newark Board of Education.
