Summary: Whereas, CARA has agreed to provide staff development for school staff on postsecondary access and train current NJ college students who are alumni of Newark high schools to support the work of the counseling staff for Newark Board of Education high schools. Topics will include postsecondary applications, financial aid, transition and matriculation.
Funding : No cost to the district
Recommendation to the Board: Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memorandum of Understanding between CARA and the Newark Board of Education.
