Priority 2.3 2.3 Develop a cognitive-learning approach to pedagogy and instruction that deepens understanding of the science of learning and centralizes knowledge building as core to improving the academic achievement of all students, including English language learners, students with special needs, and struggling learners.

Summary:
|
Whereas, the Newark Board of Education is committed to the continuing improvement of the educational program of the district; and
Whereas, teachers, department chairs and central office personnel have authored Dance Grades PreK-2, Theatre Grade 9 and Grades 3-5, Orchestra Grades 6-8, Music Ensemble Grades 9-12 and Introduction to Music Grades 9-12 curriculum that provide a year long overview.
