Summary:
|
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education received proposals on Thursday, June 6, 2019 after public advertisement for Universal Enrollment System Manager Request for Proposal. Request for proposals were issued to ten (10) vendors with two (2) vendors responding; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education approved the award of contract during the June 25, 2019 Board Meeting for a one (1) year period from date of award with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods and approved all available renewals; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education currently utilizes and desires to continue to unitize the Universal Enrollment System Manager application software which is licensed by SchoolMint; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education can award a term contract without bidding for the provision or performance of goods or services for the support or maintenance of proprietary computer hardware and software pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-5A (19); and
WHEREAS, the contract is for a one (1) year period commencing July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation of award of term contract has been reviewed and approved by Rochanda Jackson, Executive Director, Planning, Evaluation and Testing.
