WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the City of Newark, County of Essex (the “Board”) formally approves, accepts and/or authorizes various personnel matters and actions including among other things, leave requests;
WHEREAS, Employee Nos. 28140, 47670 and 55589 have requested a leave of absence without pay from September 12, 2023 to January 24, 2024 and December 11, 2023 to December 21, 2023;
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board finds that the request should be granted.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, that the Board approves and authorizes a leave of absence without pay for Employee Nos. 28140, 47670 and 55589 for the time period specified above.
