Summary:
|
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education seeks to secure advertising services for transit, radio, billboard and television ads to attract and provide notice to Newark residents for various District initiatives; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education is authorized to enter into an agreement for extraordinary unspecifiable services in accordance with N.J.S.A.18A:18A-5a (2); and
WHEREAS, the contract term shall be July 1, 2022 through July 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Board of Education will secure quotations from the awarded vendors for each advertising project; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation for award was reviewed and approved by Nancy Deering, Director of Board Relations and Interim Director of Communications.

Recommendation to the Board:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Newark Board of Education accepts and approves the award of term contracts for Advertising Services from July 1, 2022 through July 31, 2024 as follows:
A. Altice Media Solutions LLC, Pittsburg, PA at a cost not to exceed $250,000.00
B. AR James Media, Allentown, NJ at a cost not to exceed $150,000.00
C. Clear Channel Outdoor at a cost not to exceed $30,000.00
D. Intersection Media LLC, New York, NY at a cost not to exceed $400,000.00
E. Interstate Outdoor Advertising LP, Cherry Hill, NJ at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00
F. Lamar Advertising of NYC, New York, NY at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00
G. Outfront Media Inc. Fairfield, NJ at a cost not to exceed $400,000.00
H. Spanish Broadcasting System at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00
I. SpanJer Sign Corporation Long Island City, NY at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00
J. Univision Receivables Co/Univision Holdings Inc, Teaneck, NJ at a cost not to exceed $200,000.00
