Summary:
|
WHEREAS, Hospital has instituted the UH Hospital Workforce Readiness Program (“Program”), which is committed to exposing students from the greater Newark area to learn job skills so they are ready to enter the workforce upon high school graduation with increased employability; and WHEREAS, Hospital, by and through the Program, and the City of Newark desire to advance their respective goals by working collaboratively and have arrived at an understanding pursuant to which the Hospital will employ such students.

Now therefore, be it resolved that the Newark Board of Education approve this Memorandum of Understanding between University Hospital and the Newark Board of Education.
